A bitter herb with a strong affinity for the liver and gallbladder, celandine is usually used in combination with other herbs to stimulate bile flow. The juice of celandine has traditionally been used warts, corns, & ringworm.
Warnings: Contraindicated with liver disease, emaciation, or weak digestion. Not for long term use. Not for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Uses: Bitter and cholagogue.
