Essiac Tea

Essiac Tea is a timeless and traditional blend of potent herbs that have historically been used to promote one's health and well-being. This organic Essiac Blend is slightly different than our other Essiac Teas because several of the ingredients are in powder form, which makes a slightly thicker brew.

Essiac tea is a blend of different herbs, including burdock root, slippery elm, sheep sorrel and Indian rhubarb. In addition to its purported anticancer properties, Essiac tea is also believed to enhance detoxification, boost immune function and reduce inflammation

Daily serving size: 4 oz

Ingredients: Organic burdock root C/S, organic sheep sorrel herb powder, organic slippery elm bark powder, and organic (Turkey) rhubarb root powder.

Directions for Concentrate

1. Bring 32 oz. of distilled water to a boil.
2. Add 1 oz. essiac blend and stir well.
3. Boil for 10 minutes mostly covered with a lid to let steam escape.
4. Remove from heat and let sit at room temperature with a lid for 8-12 hours.
5. Strain infusion into a clean jar using a mesh strainer or cheese cloth.
6. Store in the refrigerator up to one week.

Warning: Pregnant women should consult a physician. This product contains Rhubarb Root (Rheum palmatum).  Do not use if you have or develop diarrhea, loose stools, or abdominal pain because Rhubarb Root may worsen these conditions and be harmful to your health. Consult your physician if you have frequent diarrhea or if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition. Individuals with a history of kidney stones should use this herb cautiously. Use only stainless steel utensils when preparing this tea.
